Having been around when Sade entered the scene in the early 80’s ,in my opinion Chisaren reminds me of that same enduring quality and effortless style-but in a more contemporary aesthetic.
The songwriting is strong, the melodies are memorable and the production not overpowering, so the tunes just wash over you in a pleasing manner.
In fact its feels like a universal appeal in the music of Chisaren - and I would hope a larger audience awaits to experience her tunes.

The tune that really grabbed me was “High Off Your Time” - its definitely a melody that just sticks after the first listen - always a great sign for a songwriter!
Writing memorable original melodies is the hardest job in the world and certainly this artist has defined her own sound and style.
In her own words from her Spotify bio:
“Blending neo-soul, alt R&B, and a little early 2000s shimmer Chisaren makes music that feels like a late-night drive with the windows down and your feelings finally telling the truth. Her lyrics are personal but never heavy-handed, soft storytelling wrapped in warmth, wit, and a cute smile.
She’s equal parts cozy and bold. One minute it’s tender and nostalgic, the next it’s playful and a little weird. The vocals are hers. The stories are hers. The heart is definitely hers.”
She has been building her audience gradually on YouTube,TikTok,Spotify - so go check out her tunes - well worth a listen!
