Irma - songs and infectious grooves for the world!

Irma is a Cameroonian singer-songwriter living in France.

Infectious melodies and grooves abound with her syncopated acoustic style.

Yes - you can hear late 90’s acoustic influences (Lauryn Hill and India Arie comes to mind) - however she crafts beautiful songs in her own right - sung in English as well as French, that also reflect her African cultural heritage.

Check out the recent “House Of Cards” track - this is where I discovered her - its such an infectious cool groove that makes you want to move.

On top of that the syncopated melody line completes the effect.. and its so catchy!

By complete contrast “Black Sun” from 2019 is darker - still the same syncopated acoustic guitar based production - but with more serious subject matter exploring human angst.

Academically gifted - she has a Master in Business Management from a top French business school, she also produces films.

Hopefully she will reach a wider audience - with the current state of the music business, it seems more luck than judgement, and sometimes the most deserving artists are overlooked.

Anyway - the world needs to hear her music.
