TK or Tom Keckler has been repairing guitars for over 50 years.
For any musician a good playing guitar is the make or break for allowing good creativity.
Fortunately TK has the expertise to tackle most issues that can come up regarding guitar playability.
Often the guitar repair community or luthiers are the unsung heroes - but without them any guitar player would not be able to articulate art and write and play, and be inspired with the instrument.
Getting back to TK's history : he started as a bass player in the 1960's with The Yardbirds opening for his band in Memphis- that led to a friendship with Jeff Beck.
In turn TK, transitioned to repairing and designing guitars over the years - working with Elvis on the iconic black Gibson Dove that was refinished- as well as Jimmy Page on Led Zeppelin's first US tour in 1969.
Jeff Beck and TK would re-unite again in 1971 when Jeff purchased the 1954 oxblood Gibson Les Paul that had suffered a headstock repair and pickup swap - but brought back to life by TK.
This went on to be the famous “Blow By Blow” Les Paul used by Jeff.

TK was at iconic Memphis music store and guitar builder Strings and Things - involved in the design of the custom line of guitars that later became St Blues Guitars.
A soujourn in California led to TK working with Schecter Guitars developing a line of instruments - most notably for Pete Townshend in 1979-80.
TK returned to Memphis - working with Joe Walsh and Albert King- and is still serving the music community by offering a great guitar repair service with TKs Guitar Services.

He is known as the “luthier to the legends” and has been behind some of the greatest music ever made.
